New FRANKENSTEIN prints from the Wrightson Archives!

Celebrate October with a couple brand-new releases from the Wrightson archives!

Two NEW Wrightson Frankenstein prints dropping MONDAY!

Happy Spook-tober to everyone out there in Wrightson-World!

To celebrate the best month of the year, (AND to celebrate the birth-month of the master himself) Nakatomi is back with a new release in our ongoing Frankenstein artist edition series, AND a very special Wood edition of the classic “Wedding Night” illustration!

20×30 Wood Veneer print of “Wedding Night” with an edition of only 31 copies!

This edition of “Wedding Night” is screen-printed by hand onto wood veneer stock. This specialty paper has a thin layer of actual wood laminated onto a sheet of paper, giving it the look and feel of natural wood grain, while still being able to be rolled into a poster tube.

Hand-numbered in a limited edition of only 31 copies worldwide.

“Wedding Night” is undoubtedly Wrightson’s finest pen-and-ink illustration, and this is the very first time it has been offered on wood!

The power and fury of Frankenstein’s monster!

“Wedding Night” wood panel is limited to a tiny edition of just 31 copies worldwide. Prints will retail for $150 each. Limit 2 per household. Prints are in hand and ready for immediate shipment.
Note- because of the natural surface of the material- some variations will occur.

“Laboratory” Wrightson Frankenstein artist edition print!

“Laboratory” an unused image from Bernie’s classic Frankenstein adaptation!

The next release in our ongoing Bernie Wrightson ‘Artist Edition’ series of prints is also dropping this Monday at 2pm! Prints will be available HERE in the Nakatomi store.

“Laboratory” is an unused illustration from Bernie’s adaptation of Shelley’s Frankenstein. Originally drawn in preparation for the book, but was ultimately left out of the publication. This stunning image is now available as an artist edition for the very first time.

An unparalleled look at the hand of a master at the height of his craft…

Reproduced from a scan of the original art board, provided by film director, Frank Darabont, this is the closest anyone can come to owning the original piece.

This fine art giclée is printed at 12 x 18 inches- the original art board was drawn at 11 x 16″. We’ve given the extra bleed on the sides of the piece to make this suitable for standard framing.

A look at the hand embossing and numbering from a previous release in this series

Hand-numbered and embossed in the bottom corner with Bernie’s distinctive “W”, this edition is limited to 300 copies worldwide. Printed on archival acid free 100% cotton rag natural watercolor paper with archival inks, produced in-house at the Nakatomi Print Labs. Prints retail at $50 each. Please limit 2 per household.

Both prints will be available in the Bernie Wrightson section of the Nakatomi store HERE on Monday 10/24 at 2pm Central.
